Though Black History Month is over, learning about Black History is a year round opportunity. We’ve rounded up staff-recommended resources for you to continue learning about Black History.
February is I Love to Read Month and Black History Month! RPS Media Specialist Jolyn Thompson put together a Black History Book Wall filled with 28 resources for students and their families to check out. From learning about Ruby Bridges and Shirley Chisholm to Kobe Bryant and John Lewis, students can look at a diverse collection of people and events that impact our American history.
